TATIANA SACHIE is a New York based actress also known for her work in Game of You, Blink, and Avenue X, an adaptation of Hemingway’s short story Hills Like White Elephants, for which she won the Best Actress Award at the Riverlights Film Festival in New York. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Tatiana attended the Lee Strasberg Institute and the Atlantic Acting Schools in New York. She has performed in numerous independent films and theater productions in both New York City and Brazil.
BRENNAN TAYLOR is an American film, television, and theater actor from Portland, Oregon, who can be seen on Law & Order: SVU (NBC), Royal Pains (USA), Person of Interest (CBS), Broad City (Comedy Central), Flesh & Bone (Starz), including “The Amazing Spider-Man II,” by Columbia Pictures. CHRISTIANE SEIDEL is a New York based actress, recently known as Sigrid Mueller of HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, the murderous Norwegian nanny-wife to rogue FBI agent, Nelson van Alden, played by Academy@ Nominated Actor Michael Shannon. Her TV debut was a guest star on Law & Order: SVU’s 12th season premiere. Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, to a Danish mother and German father who was a NATO fighter pilot, Christiane recently played the female lead on the German dark comedy, Schmidt’s Katze, for Südwestrundfunk (SWR), Germany. Edward Shieh (謝宗楷) is a director and screenwriting member of the Writer’s Guild of America East and WGA Digital Caucus. His work has been awarded and nominated for Best Film, Direction, Actor, Actress, Ensemble Cast, Cinematography, Editing and Music from Academy® Qualifying and international festivals. Eddie has been a distinguished nominee to the NBC Directing Fellowship, Fox Global Directors Initiative Fellowship, and O’Neill National Directing Fellowship programs. Director’s Statement
Split End is an extension of a dramatic feature script in development, coupled with my previous film, Mr. Chavan. Both films were adapted from their original versions for the Asian American Film Lab 72 Hour Shootout where filmmakers create a 5-minute max film from brief to finish in 72 hours.
